Like Water for Clones: Tap, Bottle or Bucket?
Hydroponic growers everywhere are looking at the best and most effective ways to grow clones. Clones are simply small cuttings from larger plants, which are called ‘mother plants’ – the clone allows for another quick growing plant from an existing garden, rather than growing new plants from seed, which takes some time and energy out of the process. There are other benefits to cloning, but there are also some challenges, and many clients need to be more delicately cared for then those grown from seed.
Clones and Water
One of the big debates in hydroponic circles is how to provide water to cloned plants – considerations for clones are much the same as a greater strategy for mother plants, but some growers feel like clones need a bit more tender loving care and that means looking at every kind of element of the plant environment to optimize it for the best chances of cloning success. This can involve a lot of complex equipment for o
